Million Dollar (Maine) Man

Do you ever head over to the store and pick up a couple of $2 scratch off tickets just for the heck of it? You may win…you may not, but if you don’t it’s not the end of the world. In reality, many people who play the lottery say that they go into it with a joking mentality. (still secretly hoping to win it all) When you buy a scratch off ticket at a gas station, you don’t usually expect to win big, but will sometimes surprise yourself by winning back a few bucks. The bottom line is buying cheap scratch tickets is fun, it doesn’t set you back, and you may get lucky. That is exactly what happened this past weekend to a man from my neighboring town.

John Gregg, of Wells, Maine purchased a scratch lottery ticket from ‘lil mart’ convenience store in Sanford, Maine and won big. He probably never thought that spending a couple of dollars at a gas station would change his life, but it did. On Friday he became a millionaire. He won $1 million from the Maine lottery’s ultimate millions, and I can guarantee there are few people who felt as great as he did that day. It just goes to show, you never know what could happen in small town America!

Woah, John Gregg won $1 million dollars from a single scratch ticket! that is so very impressive! What a lucky guy! thats absolutely amazing! Hopefully that man put the money to go use, I always wonder what people do with money after they win the megabucks or scratch tickets.

Congratulations to John Gregg! He is one lucky guy to win a million dollars which will change his life forever. I hope he at least takes a portion of his prize to help make a difference in some way possible. That is what I would personally do if I ever won the lottery.
